QoS 기반의 서비스 지향 아키텍쳐를 위한 높은 신뢰성의 서비스 선택과 모니터링 기법

Abstract

서비스 기반 아키텍처는 네트워크상에서 구축되는 시스템이기때문에 사용자가 만족할 수 있는 Quality of Service (QoS)를 갖는 서비스를 제공하는 것이 중요하다. 서비스의 품질을 향상시키기 위한 서비스 선택과 모니터링 기법에 대한 연구는 오랫동안 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 현재까지 제안된 방안은 사용자가 선호하는 서비스의 품질에 대한 고려는 하지 않고 있다. 또한 선택되는 서비스에 대한 모니터링은 실시간으로 이루어져 부하가 크거나, 간단한 등록 테스트를 거치는 것으로 대신한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 선호하는 QoS를 만족하는 서비스를 제공하기 위한 고 신뢰성의 서비스 선택 기법을 제안하고, 부하가 적은 모니터링 기법을 통해 서비스의 속도를 높인다. 제안된 서비스 선택 기법은 다기준 의사결정기법인 VIKOR 방법과 TOPSIS 방법을 교차적으로 사용하는 것으로 구현된다. VIKOR 방법의 decision matrix는 Service Level Agreement (SLA)의 분석을 통해 얻어지고, TOPSIS 방법의 것은 사용자의 피드백을 조합하여 얻어진다. 서비스를 지속적으로 모니터링하는 과정에서 생기는 부하를 줄이기 위해 사용자의 피드백을 바탕으로 서비스를 세 그룹으로 분류하여 모니터링하도록 구현한다. 실험 결과를 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 기법으로 인해 모니터링의 부하가 적고, 처리량이 빠르고, 사용자가 원하는 QoS에 정확히 부합하는 서비스를 높은 확률로 제공할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a system architecture that is composed of service providers, service brokers, and service consumers in the network. Due to the nature that is implemented in the network, Quality of Service (QoS) that can satisfy the users is one of the important issue. However, proposed systems do not consider preference of users to select service. Monitoring about services is registration check-in test or real-time monitoring. Testing does not guarantee QoS during the process and real-time monitoring gives the load to brokers. In this paper, fuzzy-based service selection method and group-based service monitoring is proposed to provide services that match the user demand. To implement proposed service selection, VIKOR method and TOPSIS method are used interchangeably. To decrease load in service monitoring process, all services are divided into three groups using QoS feedback of users.
