Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 새로운 bulk-fill 복합레진의 중합수축의 동력학을 기존의 methacrylate 계열의 복합레진과 비교 분석하는 것이다.
두 종의 bulk-fill 복합레진: non-flowable (QuixFil, Dentsply, Constance, Germany))과 flowable (Filtek Bulk Fill, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA), 두 종의 conventional 복합레진: non-flowable (Filtek Z250, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA)과 flowable (Filtek Z350 XT, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA)의 중합수축의 동력학을 자체 제작한 장비를 이용하여 비교하였다. 광중합 시 발생하는 중합수축과 중합수축응력을 각각 modified bonded disc 방법과 feedback 시스템을 이용하여 600 초 동안 측정하였다. 수집된 데이터의 평균비교를 위하여 one-way ANOVA와 사후검정 (Duncan-hoc)을 실시하였다(α=0.05).
광중합 시작 후 600초 경과시의 중합수축은 2.07-3.66% 였다. Filtek Z350 XT에서 가장 높았으며, Filtek Bulk Fill > Flitek Z250 ≒ QuixFil 순으로 감소하였다(p < 0.05). 중합수축응력은 2.05-5.40 MPa 이었다. Filtek Z350 XT에서 가장 큰 값을 보였으며, Filtek Bulk Fill이 가장 낮은 값을 보였다(p < 0.05).
Flowable 복합레진에서 Filtek Bulk Fill은 Filtek Z350 XT보다 더 낮은 중합수축과 중합수축응력을 보였다. Non-flowable 복합레진에서 Filtek Z250과 비교 시 QuixFil의 중합수축은 차이가 없었고, 중합수축응력은 더 크게 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the polymerization shrinkage kinetics of new bulk-fill composites compared with the conventional methacrylate-based composites.
Two types of bulk-fill composites: a non-flowable (QuixFil, Dentsply, Constance, Germany) and a flowable (Filtek Bulk Fill, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA), and two types of the conventional composites: a non-flowable (Filtek Z250, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA) and a flowable (Filtek Z350 XT, 3M ESPE, St Paul MN, USA) were used in the experiments (n = 5).
Polymerization shrinkage and polymerization shrinkage stress were measured using a modified bonded disc method and a feedback system, respectively. During measurements, composites were light cured for 40 s and the data were obtained for 600 s. The mean values of each group were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Duncan-hoc test (α=0.05).
Polymerization shrinkage was 2.07 to 3.66%. Filtek Z350 XT showed the highest polymerization shrinkage, followed by Filtek Bulk Fill, Filtek Z250, and QuixFil. Polymerization shrinkage stress was 2.05-5.40 MPa. The highest and lowest values were obtained in Filtek Z350 XT and Filtek Bulk Fill, respectively (p < 0.05).
Filtek Bulk Fill showed lower polymerization shrinkage and polymerization shrinkage stress than Filtek Z350 XT, while QuixFil exhibited similar polymerization shrinkage and higher polymerization shrinkage stress when compared with Filtek Z250.
