교육용 가락 국악기의 성과와 과제

Abstract

본 논문에서는 교육과정에 따른 국악기 교육 검토를 바탕으로 교육용 국악기로 정착해온 가락 악기들의 성과를 고찰하였고, 그를 바탕으로 향후 과제를 제시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 음악과 교육과정은 현재까지 모두 7번의 전면 개정과 2번의 부분 개정이 있었으며, 제5차 교육과정까지 국악기 지도는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 교육과정에 제시된 국악기 지도 관련 내용 은 제6차 교육과정에서 리듬악기로 소고, 장구, 꽹과리, 징이 소개되었고, 가락악기로는 처음으로 단소가 소개가 되어 이후 단소교육이 활성화 되는 계기를 마련하였다. 또한 제7차 교육과정에서는 소고, 장구, 단소가 제6차 교육과정에 이어 계속 기악 학습추천 악기로 제시되었고, 2007 개정 교육과정에서는 소고, 장구, 단소에 가락악기인 소금이 추가 제시되었으며, 2009 개정 교육과정에 서는 가락악기로 관악기인 단소, 소금에 가야금을 새롭게 추가 제시함으로써 국악기 교육은 새로 운 국면을 맞이한 것으로 보인다. 교육용 국악기 중 가락악기로 인정받고 있는 단소, 소금, 대금, 가야금 등의 악기들에 관해 크기와 재료, 구조, 경제성, 일반화 등의 변화를 중심으로 검토하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 교육용 단소는 본래 단소와 비교하여, 취구 부분의 보조기구와 지공을 추가한 일부 구조 변경, 크기 변화 없이 대나무를 합성수지로 변경, 경제성 확보 등, 교육현장에 가장 안정적으로 정착화 단계에 있다고 할 수 있다. 소금은 단소처럼 크기 변화 없이 대나무를 합성수지로 바꾸고, 경제성 을 갖추어가고 있는 중이지만, 아직 일반화 단계에 도달하지는 못하였다고 판단된다. 또한 대금은 일부 지공간 구조변경이 시도되고 있지만 크기 변화 없이 대나무를 합성수지로 바꾸고, 경제성을 갖추어가고 있는 중이며, 향후 교육용 국악기로의 적용 가능성 기대를 제시하였다. 현악기인 가야 금은 크기를 줄이고, 명주실을 폴리에스테르와 명주실의 합성으로 바꾸고, 가격을 낮추었지만, 아직도 크기와 경제성에서는 경쟁력을 확보하지 못하였으며, 그에 따라 아직 일반화 단계에 도달 하지는 못하였다고 판단하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 단소나 소금은 기본음의 음고를 달리한 여러 가지 형태의 단소 제작과 국악기 중 음색이나 크기 등을 고려한 교육용 국악기로의 개발 필요성을 향후 과제로 제시하였다.

In this paper, the process of educational music instruments of Korea based on the examination of Korean traditional musical instruments according to the national curriculum is reviewed, and future tasks are presented. The results are as follows. The national music curriculum have been revised 10 times so far. From the first curriculum to the fifth curriculum, it was found that the instruction of Korean traditional music was not done. However, after the 6th curriculum, Danso, a melodic instrument with Sogo and Changgu, rhythm instruments, was first introduced as a traditional Korean musical instrument, and then Sogeum and Gayageum were added to the present. This research examined the process of transition in educational traditional Korean musical instruments which were used in schools. The result of it presents that Danso is the primary for utilizing as educational traditional Korean instruments and in order to do it, there has been various of experiment process and improvements for many years. Based on the outcome of educational musical instrument Danso started to be ready for educational traditional Korean musical instruments with Sogeum which is similar to Danso's shape and material, Especially, the present days, by using special equipment, Daegeum's wide gap on its instrument between holes which it has been suggested currently. Therefore, there is a possibility that it could be one of the traditional Korean musical instruments for use in the teaching in the future. Moreover, instance of Gayageum, reduce its size for children and introduce it for educational instrument as an example and discuss with its needs such as raising its economic feasibility and utilization. Based on these facts, firstly, it needs to produce Danso or Sogeum which it has different basic pitch with different shapes. Secondly, find and develop the educational traditional Korean musical instruments which are considered for easy techniques and their sizes and it will be a task in the future.
