Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 졸업연주 프로그램에 따른 작품들의 작곡배경과 구조적인 분석에 대한 연구이다. 각 작품의 구조와 특징을 분석하여 보다 효과적인 연주의 기반을 마련하는데 중점을 두었다. 요한 세바스찬 바하(Johann Sebastian Bach, 1685-1750)의 건반악기를 위한 조곡으로는 영국 조곡, 프랑스 조곡, 파르티타가 있다. 그의 초기 조곡은 알라망드-쿠랑트-사라방드 이 세 개의 기본 악장이며 후기에 지그가 포함된다. 바하의 조곡은 이러한 네 개의 기본 악장 외에도 필요에 따라 서주적인 성격의 곡이나 선택적 무곡(Optional dance)이 첨가된다. 바하의 여섯 개의 영국 조곡에서는 부레(Bourrée), 가보트(Gavotte), 미뉴에트(Minuet), 파스피에(Passpied)가 선택적 무곡으로 나타나며 영국조곡 2번에서는 서주의 프렐류드와 부레 Ⅰ&Ⅱ가 추가로 삽입된다. 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770-1827)은 고전시대 마지막 거장으로 32곡의 피아노 소나타를 작곡하였다. Appassionata'는 이 중 중기에 해당하는 소나타로 세밀하고 치밀한 구성과 음악적인 표현력이 풍부하게 전개되어 있으며 또한 건반악기의 기능을 살린 작곡기법이 최대한으로 활용되어 있다. 후기 낭만주의 작곡가인 브람스(Johannes Brahms, 1833-1897)는 낭만주의적 서정성과 고전적인 면모를 동시에 드러내며 절대음악을 추구하였던 작곡가이다. 그가 활동하던 시기에는 성격적 소품(Characteristic Pieces)이 유행하던 시기로 작품과 연관된 제목을 갖는 경우가 많았다. 그의 랩소디 또한 이러한 성격 소품의 하나로 단순한 가운데 깊은 정취를 담고 있다. 이 곡은 브람스의 내면적인 고독감과 성숙한 음악관이 격정적이면서도 서정적인 선율들로 표현되어 있다. 바르톡(Béla Bartók, 1881-1945)은 민속음악에 대한 연구로써 20세기 음악에 많은 공헌을 하였는데 그가 지닌 뛰어난 독창성과 다양한 수법은 많은 작곡가들에게 큰 영향을 주었다. 특히 그의 피아노 음악에서는 타악기적인 효과가 잘 나타나고 있으며 그 위에 화성적인 독특함과 헝가리 민속음악의 선율과 리듬이 조화를 이루어 특유의 색채감을 가진다. 피아노 소나타는 1926년 작품으로써 바르톡 특유의 강렬한 리듬과 민속 음악적인 선율이 잘 나타난 작품 중의 하나이다.

In order to an effective performance, this paper includes brief descriptions of the historical background of each work and analysis of the structures and characteristic features of the works. A suite is a piece of dance music which originated from the Renaissance royal music as an import mode of baroque era. This word derived from the French which means 'come along'. 'consecution' and this is usually used a meaning of an aggregate form such as 'a lot of side-by-side rooms', 'a set of furniture' and so on. Also, Suite in music had a similar sense. The Suite of Johann Sebastian Bach added to Prelude or Optional dance as occasion demands excepting basic movement (Allemande - Courante - Sarabande - Gigue). English Suite had Bourree, Gavotte, Minuet, Passipied including basic movement especially, No. 2 added Prelude and Bourree. Beethoven is a person having great power of creativity and expression, and excellent ability of composition in music. One of sonatas that were made in his brilliant and volitive second era is <Piano Sonata Op. 57 [Appassionata]>. Representative characters of [Appassionata] are as follows. First, it is more powerful than Mozart and Haydn about giving expression, which is due to pursuit of music displaying his suffering. Second, he gives the tension to the piece by repeating small passages many times. Piano Pieces of Johannes Brahms show as a clear division of work period. According to the characterisitic, it divides to 3 era. Especially Rhapsodies Op. 79 which belong to the latter part are one of the Character Pieces. This piece includes deep atmosphere, lonliness and mature vision of music, also it expresses beautiful melodies. Bela Bartok contributed to a 20century music greatly also his creativeness and various methods influenced to many composers. Specially, in his Piano Music, many pieces had an effect of percussion., uniqueness of chords and melodies of Hungary folk music. Piano sonata is a piece which composed in 1926 and it came out best in his unique intense rhythm and folk musical melody.
