경제 성장자원의 저주자원의 운용제도의 질Most resource abundant countries are divided into two groupscountries that cursed by resource or blessed by resources. Are some destined to sufferwhile others are blessed? I suggest that the reason why these problems happen is because of institutional quality. Countries with bad institutions people depend negatively on natural resourceswhile countries with good institutions depend positively on natural resources so that they could develop rapidly. In this thesisI present a relationship between economic growthresource abundance and institutional quality by in Latin America and the Caribbean(LAC). In the 70s resource boomLAC failed to manage natural resources. However with the good institutions and improved economic policiesLAC used natural resources wisely in the 2000s resource boom achieving economic growth. I focus on the case of Chile to elaborate the relationship between economic growthresource abundance and institutions and figure out effects of institutions on managing natural resources. My study suggests on Korea investigating development and exploitation of natural resources and energy and shows the ways to invest in natural resources and energy of Latin American countries.
