Home환경에서의 Mesh AP 최적 배치 기법

Abstract

In this thesis, we present the optimal placement techniques of mesh APs in home environment. In the case of the previously proposed mesh APs deployment techniques, the location of the deployment is chosen without considering the user's location or traffic patterns. This causes the difference between the estimated optimum position and the actual optimum position by the AP placement technique. Also, in the case of the previously proposed deployment method, the office environment is mainly considered, and the home environment is not considered. Therefore, in this thesis, we propose a method to deploy the optimal mesh AP placement position step by step through MATLAB and ns-3 simulations in consideration of the user 's location information and traffic pattern in the home environment.

본 논문에서는 Home환경에서의 Mesh AP의 최적 배치 기법에 대한 내용을 다룬다. 기존에 제안된 Mesh AP 배치 기법들의 경우 사용자의 위치나 트래픽 패턴을 고려하지 않고 배치 위치를 선정하였으므로, 배치기법에서 산출된 최적 배치 위치와 실제 최적 배치 위치와의 차이가 발생하였다. 또한 기존에 제안되어왔던 배치 방법의 경우에 오피스 환경을 주로 고려하였으며 가정환경은 고려하지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 가정환경에서 사용자의 위치정보 및 트래픽 패턴을 고려하여 좀 더 실제 환경에 맞도록 MATLAB 및 ns-3 시뮬레이션을 통해 단계적으로 최적 Mesh AP 배치 위치를 산출하는 기법을 제안한다.
