사용자 경험(UX)을 고려한 전기자동차 디자인 요소 추출에 관한 전문가 선호도 연구

Abstract

2015년 파리협정과, 폭스바겐의 디젤스캔들, 환경보존을 위한 내연기관 금지 정책 등은 근미래 자동차 산업이 이뤄야 할 과제를 제시하고 있다. 최근의 IOT, 빅데이타, 인공지능의 발전과 함께 단순히 사람을 운반하는데 그쳤던 운송기기(People Mover)는 외부와 소통하며 인간의 삶을 편하게 하는 스마트카(People Helper)로 개념이 변하고 있다. 최근에 출시한 Tesla Model-3를 비롯하여 2021년 군산공장에서 생산예정인 Byton의 M-byte는 이러한 자동차 산업의 패러다임 변화를 명확히 보여준다. 이러한 변화에 있어 핵심은 사용자 경험(UX)을 기반으로 한 디자인이라고 예상하며, 본 연구에서는 자료조사, 선행연구분석을 토대로 자동차 디자인 업계에 근무하는 전문가를 대상으로 한 심층 인터뷰를 시행하여 현재 진행 중인 전기자동차의 산업변화와 그에 따른 디자인 방향성을 확인하였다. 또한, 심층 인터뷰 분석 결과를 바탕으로 핵심가치와 연결되는 사용자 경험(UX) 기반 자동차 디자인 핵심요소와 하위 디자인 요소를 추출하였다. 그리고 이를 검증하기 위하여 자동차 업계 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 본 논문에서는 최종적으로 사용자 경험(UX) 기반 전기자동차 디자인 핵심요소 4가지 <인터렉션(Interaction), 기능(Function), 감성(Emotion), 서비스(Service)>를 제시하였다. 그리고 이와 관련된 하위 디자인 요소를 추출하고 직업별, 직군별 전문가 인식의 차이와 선호도를 분석 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 가치 지향적 디자인 요소는 전기자동차 업무를 담당하는 전문가에게는 디자인의 실천 방향을 제시하며, 학계 연구자에게는 자동차 산업에 종사하는 전문가의 의견이 반영된 현장을 기반으로 한 중점요소로서 이론적 연구 방향을 제공할 것이다.

In this study, in-depth interview with experts working in the automotive design industry are conducted to confirm the current industry changes and the design direction of electric vehicles. In addition, based on in-depth interview data, I analyzed user experience elements - based automotive design elements that are linked to core values in the automotive industry. In this paper, I present four 'Interaction, Function, Emotion, and Service' as the core elements of electric vehicle design based on user experience(UX) derived from data surveys, previous studies, and in-depth interview. And I designed a questionnaire for analyzing important design elements related to this and conducted a survey. These value-oriented design elements presented in this study suggest the direction of design to professionals in charge of electric vehicle business, and the academic researcher will be able to focus on the theoretical research as important elements based on the field reflecting the opinions of experts in the automobile industry.
