Abstract
By reviewing the foregoing articles on trust, this paper purposes to propose a new definition for organizational trust, to identify similarity and difference among sets of antecedents of individual-, group-, and organization-level trust, and to provide implications for future research, The paper analyzes 55 existing articles(28 in Korean and 27 in international SSCI-level journals), which explored organizational trust. This paper contributes in the following three aspects, First, it proposes to include substantial entities like a group or an organization as both trustor and trustee within the concept of organizational trust, and the contextualistic approach that acknowledges the role of both calculative considerations and social inputs in trust judgments and decisions. Second, after allocating 55 existing articles of trust into one of 9 cells of 3*3 matrix constructed based on two dimension(trustor and trustee) with three levels (individual. group, and organization), three cells were found to have no articles in them, Those are a group's trust on an individual'. 'an organizations trust on an individual'. and 'a group's trust on an organization'. So this paper suggests further research to be done on these issues. Finally, it was found that there are similarities as well as differences among sets of antecedents of trust at the levels of individual. group, and organization.
