Abstract
This paper discusses Singaporean approach to developing cooperative labor-management relations. Since 1980s, Singapore government, in collaboration with employers and unions, have introduced various training and redevelopment programs as well as corporate welfarism to enhance positive labor-management climate. Mobile Oil Singapore is an illustration And other representative cases of cooperative labor-management relations are examined. Key success factors in these cases include systematic planning, mutual trust/respect and commitment to working together.
