Abstract

This paper addresses the application of Service Blueprint and Quality Function

Deployment methods to tobacco materials procurement process at KT&G. Brainstorming

team is organized. Various ideas are suggested, tested and implemented. Omitting the

inspection activity in the filter plug supply process makes a four days reduction of supply

time, nine million won reduction of inspection expenses a year, and contributes to quality

improvement of filter plug. Improvement of the filter plug shipping process reduces

manpower, time, and expenses of loading job. Paper ends with the limits of the study and

their possibility of application to other operation activities.
