| dc.description.abstract | 평신도 개념이 6세기 로마 카톨릭 전통에서 성직자(c1ersy)와의 구분으로 형성되기 시작한 것은 주지의 사실이다. 성직자는 그리하여 설교(교육)의 권위를 갖고 성찬을 주재하는 반면, 평신도(laity)는 교회예배 참여를 통해 가르침과 하나님의 은총을 받고 세속에서 선교를 완성할 의무를 지는 것으로 이해되었다. 16세기 종교개혁에서 개신교는 이러한 구분을 부정(ex. John Calvin: 교회 모든 구성원의 집단적 평신도 강조)하기도 하나, 실제 교사·설교·예배의 임무를 지는 성직자가 형성되고 평신도는 자연스럽게 이들과 구분되었다. | - |
