| dc.description.abstract | 현대 한국불교의 학문적 접근은 1959년 백성욱 박사의 송수기념으로 간행된 『불교학논문집』으로부터 시작된다고 보아야 할 것이다. 백성욱 박사는 프랑스에 유학했고 이어서 독일 뷔르쯔부르크대학에서 철학을 전공하였으며, 1925년 「佛敎純全哲學」이란 논문에 의해 철학박사 학위를 취득하였다. 그후 1951년에 동국대학교 총장에 취임하였다. 8년 후인 1959년 그의 회갑을 맞이하여 기념 논문집을 발간하게 되었는데, 이 「불교학논문집』이 한국 불교학계에서는 최초로 발간된 본격적인 논문집이라고 할수 있다. | - |
