| dc.description.abstract | 도서관 상호대차 서비스란, 자관 미소장 자료에 대한 이용자의 자료 요청에 부응하여, 도서관간에 서로 자료의 의뢰 및 대출·복사 서비스를 제공하는 것으로, 이른바 도서관의 상호협력에 기반한 제도적 장치로 설명할 수 있다. 이러한 상호대차 서비스의 연원을 거슬러 올라가 보면, 도서관 활동의 선진국인 미국의 경우, 現 미국국립의학도서관의 전신인 軍醫도서관(Surgeon General's Library)이 그 효시로, 1891년 당시 이미 이 도서관은 광범위한 상호대차 서비스를 제공하고 있던 것으로 알려지고 있는 만큼, 도서관의 상호대차 서비스는 오랜 역사적 배경을 띠고 있다. | - |
