| dc.description.abstract | 한국 역사상 갑오개혁은 근대성과 외세의존성이라는 이중성을 지니고 있어 매우 미묘한 역사적 지위를 갖는다. 근대성이란, 자본주의 경제를 기반으로 하여 국민 개개인을 법적으로 동등하게 규정하고 중앙집권적인 주권국가를 건설하려는 지향을 의미한다. 따라서 근대성을 추구하는 과정에서 개혁 주체의 권력 기반의 취약성으로 인하여 외세의 지원과 보호를 받는 것은 근대성 중의 중요한 부분인 통치주권을 일정하게 손상시킬 수밖에 없는 것이다. | - |
