송대 사대부의 『춘추』(春秋)관에 대한 연구

Abstract

기존의 송대 경학사가들은 송대 경학의 전체적 특징이 의경(疑經) 혹은 개경(改經)으로 대변되는 주관적 경전 해석이라고 규정하여 송대 경학자들 사이의 공통점만을 강조할 뿐, 그들 사이의 차이점과 그로부터 유추할 수 있는 송대 경학의 내적 변화 논리를 밝히지는 않았다. 그래서 필자는 왕안석(王安石; 1021~1086)의 춘추 관을 중심으로 내적 변화의 논리를 드러내 보이려 하였다. 당대(唐代) 말기 이미 담조(啖助)ㆍ조광(趙匡)ㆍ육순(陸淳)에 의해 싹텄던 경전에 대한 주관적 접근법이 북송의 경력 연간에 이르러 손복(孫復)ㆍ유창(劉敞) 등에 의해 만개하였지만, 왕안석의 객관적 접근법이 곧 그 자리를 대체하였고 이후의 경전 해석법에 큰 영향을 끼쳤다는 것이 나의 주장이다. 그리고 왕안석의 객관적 접근법이란, 자설 (字說)로 대변되는 그의 문자학을 통하여 경전들을 해석해 나가는 것을 뜻한다. The studies of Confucian classics by the intelle ctuals in Song China have traditionally been regarded as a subjective interpretation of classics represented by skepticism of classcis (疑經) or rectification of classics (改經), but the differences among the methods of interpretation and the transition into the objective interpretation of classics have not been studied. By explaining Wang An-shihs thoughts of Chunqiu, I tried to make known the transition of the subjective interpretation of classics into the objective interpretation of it in Song China.
