「익부전」의 서사적 특징과 그 의미

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and reveal the characteristics of Ikbujeon<益夫傳>- version of Chunhyangjeon「춘향전」written in Chinese letters. The main contents of this study are as follows; 1. Ikbujeon is gernerated in culture-background of Hangni鄕吏- the middle class in local society - and by influences of various versions of Chunhyangjeon. 2. In Ikbujeon, status conflicts are more emphasized in any other versions of Chunhyangjeon. And the love of Chunhyang춘향 shows new possibilities of love beyond love of kisaeng妓生 and love of upper status women. 3. The meanings of Ikbujeon in literature history are in that the new understandings of Chunhyangjeon by local-middle class in late 19th century are brought out and in that status conflics, the main subject in Chunhyangjeon, are strengthended.
