dc.description.abstract | Eucommia, an endemic genus of China was introduced at the first to Korea in 1930, and then medical Dr. Paik raised several stocks from the seed introduced after the 2nd World War through and officer of U.S. troop. The trees of the first and second introduction appeared to be somewhat different each other, and an argument aroused for the medicinal value of those. A male tree of second introduction was damaged as is shown in the picture A. The author made an opperation on the 9th April 1977 and seems to be recovered perfectly as is shown in the photo B. | en |
