Abstract

This study was carried to investigate the flora of Kathmandu Valley (Baktapur, Shivapuri and Mt. Phulcoki) and Namche areas near Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal and to obtain specimens, seeds and living collections with passport data for the potential use. This exploration was the first study of our whole research project on investigation of the flora of east Asia, and we were to report detailed flora of east Nepal and other countries. Participants were three plant taxonomists who had wide rage of expertise but shared an interest in similar climate plants. ..
