가 발표한 식인종 선언(Manifesto Antropófago)을 번역한 것이다. 이 선언
문은 브라질의 모더니즘, 이른바 트로피컬 모더니즘을 정초한 역사적인 문
건으로 1920년대 이후 브라질의 문예운동의 방향을 잘 보여주고 있다. 원문
의 출처는 다음과 같다. Revista de Antropofagia, Sao Paulo, 1(1), May
1928. 각주는 모두 역자주이다.
