dc.description.abstract | Recent interests in condensed matter physics are introduced and the dynamics of the interesting systems are studied through the HeisenbergLanczos method. The latter method gives rise to the continued fraction
representation when the bases vectors satisfy a recurrence relation. We show the corresponding types of the continued fraction for the typical models in condensed matte!" physics such as electron gas, Hubbard, and Anderson models and appreciate the meanings of isolated poles and branch cuts in the analytic forms of the retarded Green's function for the models. | - |
