This study was attempted to classify the morphological types of pollen grains in Korean flowering plants. The authors proposed a new model to classify pollens by characteristics of pollen, especially number, arrangement and sorts of apertures, classified pollens in Korea 14 types and 43 subtypes, and observed 1,300 species which had collected during the period from 1979 to 1987 in Korea. Polyplicate type and heterocolpate type were not observed. Pollen grains of gymnospermae were usually saccate and inaperture, while monocotyledonae were monocolpate and monoporate, and dicotyledonae were trizonocolporate, pantoporate and trizonocolpate. The zonocolporate is the most abundant types of pollens and it includes 42% of total species.-
