敎育實習 改善方向에 관한 연구 : 實習段階化를 중심으로

Abstract

The current practice in the teaching program, that all senior students in the College of Education should take two credits for interdepartmental subject as mandatory course work during five weeks of training in the attached schools, faces many problems in order to proceed properly and effectively. This study is going to propose a new and improved direction for the teaching practice program, to apply to the new curriculum soon after the relocation plan of the attached schools has been completed in the near future. The major idea of this new approach includes the educational process of step-by-step learning through teaching practice, while taking other courses in both subject matter and general educational subjects. This stage model for the program will start teaching practice from the sophomore period in nearby attached schools without any interruption of regular course work on campus. During a three year period three independent teaching practices that account for six credits will be required for the graduation. Also a research paper relating to teaching practice should be submited to the college as an extra requirement. This will take the place of the traditional thesis. For the proper exercise of this new measure it might need additional office that can deal with this matter only. Consequently revision of all current curricula should follow this plan. An urgent matter for better teacher training at the College of Education, Seoul National University must integrate of the College and the attached schools in respect of both physical location and its own program.
