Abstract
A 34-year-old man was admitted with worsening skin
lesions with persistent fever and chills. The skin lesions
had first appeared on the neck as multiple erythematous
papules at the age of 5 years. They extended to the face,
trunk and groin, and he was diagnosed with Darier s
disease (DD) at 15 years of age. He denied any family
history of skin problems and his two daughters, aged 4
and 2 years, had not shown any evidence of DD at that
point.
