Abstract

In order to investigate the glottometrical aspects of the Korean lexicon, I have inputed the Korean data in two 5 1/4" floppy diskettes. The total number of 4,370 items selected from each page (bottom left one) in H.S. Lees Great Korean Dictionary" (rev. ed.) are processed through the dBASE III PLUS program. Their format is as follows. Professor Altmann at the Sprachwissenschaftliche Institut, Ruhr-Univer-sitat Bochum, was asked to solve the following problems based on these Korean data. He offered in advance to join in his Language Synergetics Project' sponsored by the Stiftung Volkswagenwerk and to receive his computer services.
