SAT II(Subject Tests) is consisted of five general subject areas.

(2) Mathematics: Level I, Level IC & IIC(C means that Calculator is
required)
(3) History and Social Studies: American History and Social Studies,
and World History
(4) Sciences : Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
(5) Languages : Chinese with Listening, French(reading only), French with Listening, German(reading only), German with listening, Italian, japanese with listening, Korean with Listening, Latin, Modem Hebrew, Spanish(reading only), Spanish with Listening, and English Language Proficiency.
Present Status of SAT IT is as follows :
There are only 27 high schools which have Korean language classes until June 2000 ; California 12, New York 7, Washington 4, Illinois 1, Maryland 1, Michigan 1, Connecticut 1, and only 2,000 students who learn Korean language. Therefore, the Foundation of SAT II Korean endeavor to establish, preserve, and encourage Korean language classes. Also we have developed Korean language materials and assisted the program for training a Korean Teacher financially.
But it is difficult to diffuse Korean language throughout America
The reasons are as follow:
1) a lack of Korean Teachers who are professional and competent
2) a lack of educational method and materials which are systematic, various and interesting.
3) restraint of other foreign languages and competition with them
4) a financial problem
5) a wrong idea and information about SAT II Korean
