Abstract
''Regular Colleges and Universities Entrance Exam Korean" not only plays an important role as the element which influences the result of the exam, but also functions as the commanding mark of the entrance education as it is the sum of the 12 years' learning of Korean from primary school to high school. Being the national uniform entrance test, " Korean" Exam inevitably has the greatest authority and mystery. The content of the " Korean" Exam paper is secretly produced by the experts who are elected and chosen by the Education Institute in China.

In this paper, the author first introduced the pattern of the exam and laid out detailed explanation about it, then he summed up the current situation and characteristics of evaluation method of the exam.



Characteristics of Dual-Cultural Structure of Korean Exam

From the angle of test sociology, Exams reflect the society and the cultural structure in which exam participants live. Firstly, "Korean" Exam is carried on under the command of the Exam Center of Education Institute in P.R.C. It is also affected by the pattern and content of "Chinese" Exam which most of the Chinese students have every year.. Secondly, "Korean" Exam is based on the "Korean" textbook, which contains many translation works from Chinese writings. Therefore, the "Korean" Exam reflects the characteristics of dual-cultural structure.



《 3+X 》 Principle in "Korean" Exam

In Regular Colleges and Universities Entrance Exam in 2002, 《 3+X 》 Principle was irnplemented in the nationwide for the first time, According to the 《Suggestions on the further intensification of Regular Colleges and Universities Entrance Exam reform》, 《3+X》refers to three benefits. First, it is beneficial to the election of talents. second, it is beneficial to the quality education during the middle school education step. Third, it is beneficial to the enlargement of the Universities' self- determination of the management. Because of this, there are also some changes in "Korean" Exam paper so that it can evaluate students' ability and quality correctly. The reforms in "Korean" Exam are that in exam paper, objective questions are reduced, while subjective questions are increased, and intellectual enquiries and practical applicability are enhanced.



Characteristics of Content and Pattern of ''Korean'' Exam

''Korean'' Exam contains pronunciation, accent, vocabularies, grammar, rhetorical expression, literary appreciation, writing and other knowledge of Koreanlanguage. The pattern of the questions tend to be diversified. "Korean" Exam also combined literature, history and philosophy which penetrated Korean students' cultural structure in order to evaluate their ability and aptitude in Koreanlanguage. But there still exist some problems, such as too many translation works from Chinese writings are used and some questions in the exam paper like 12) are not correct themselves.

Compared with the "Math" Exam of Colleges and Universities Entrance Exam in South Korea, some problems in "Korean" Exam have to be researched and solved later on.
