dc.description.abstractThe paper contains a short review of the history of language teaching methods

in Russia, starting from the 18th century, as well as some fundamental principles

of conscientious comparative method of teaching a foreign language on which bases the teaching of the Korean language. It describes objectives, tasks and tools of teaching a foreign language.

The main body of the paper shows the contents of the Korean Language

Writing course from 1st year through 5th year, lists the instruction material used

at the Writing lessons, as well as skills, which are to be acquired by students at every step of their study.

The paper ends with specifying a number of typical difficulties encountered by Russian-speaking students and their errors when undergoing the Korean Language

Writing course.
