Abstract
The Korean language curriculum consists of grammar, skills and literature. This

works as instrumental subject for total subjects through grammar and skills, and

works as an art subject for literature itself. It aims to educate students as men of

literacy and literary.

The curriculum of grammar education should present total list of contents that consist of pronunciation, orthography, vocabulary, parts of s~h, constituents of sentence, punctuation and style according to K -12 grades. We must choose good

approaches and methods from the curriculum and text materials of English school

grammar with the subject Language Arts using spelling books, phonics books, vocabulary books, and language arts books.

In Korean language curriculum, we have to put the concepts of parts of speech and constituents of sentence in the first half of elementary school as basic instrument of learning and understanding language through making text materials easy and interesting to students.

For the practical education of grammar, we have to include grammar in writing, reading, and communication. We need not try to find another methods, but try to offer basic training and exercises for orthography, grammar rules, punctuation, style, proofreading, and language arts by systematic planning steady.
