첫 대면에서의 화제 선택과 대화 전개에 관한 연구 - 남녀 대학생을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 대화 참여자간 관계 유지가 의사소통에 지대한 영향을 끼친다고 보고， 대인 의사소통에서 관계 지향적 발화의 중요성을 시사하기 위한 목적에서 출발하였다.

본고는 이를 위해 남녀 대학생들이 첫 대면 대화에서 사용하는 화제 선택을 조사하교 그들이 첫 대변에서 어떻게 대화를 전개해 가는가를 살펴보았다. 남녀 대학생에게 설문을 실시빼， 첫 대변에서 사용하는 화제와 사용하지 않는 화제가 무엇인지를 밝혔고 상대방의 성별에 따라 유의미한 결과가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 카이스퀘어 검증을 실시하여 결론을 도출하였다. 또한 T 검정을 실시하여 상대방이 동성이냐， 이성이냐에 따라서 화제가 달리 사용됨을 확인하였다.

한편， 앞의 설문 조사와 더불어 남녀 대학생의 첫 대면 대화의 세 가지(남학생과 남학생， 여학생과 여학생， 남학생과 여학생) 사례를 녹음， 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫 대면 대화에서 남녀 대학생이 공통적으로 나이와 이름 화제를 나눈다는 사설을 확인하였는데 이는 앞서 조사한 설문 결과와 일치히는 결과이기도 하다. 그리고 대화 전개에 있어， 첫 대변에서 남녀 대학생들은 공통적인 화제를 탐색하고 상대 발언에 대해 적극적이고 협력적인 반응을 나타내는 대화적 특정이 있음을 파악하였다

The relationship for communication affects interpersonal communication. The purpose of this paper is to suggest communication skills focused relationship in the first face-to-face meeting.

In this paper I examined conversational topics that male/female senior students had used in the first face-to-face meeting and then the present paper, on the basis of chi-square test and T-test, draw a conclusion that students use different topics according to the distinction of sex of counterpart. It means that students recognize conversational topics to be able to use in the first face-to-face.

And also, through three cases(male-male, female-female, male-female types) of students' conversation, I explained that senior students seek for correlational topics and to give positive and cooperative responses each other in the first face-to-face meeting.
