중국에서의 한국어 문법교육의 특성과 과업

Abstract

중국에서의 한국어 문법교육은 60여년의 역사를 기록하고 있으나 이에 대한 과학적인 연구는 20년도 되지 않는다. 따라서 교육 실천에서의 많은 문제들이 아직 이론적으로 천명되지 못하고 있으며, 교육 실천이 이론의 지도를 받지 못하고 있기에 중국에서의 한국어 문법교육은 많은 문제점을 안고 있다. 이러한 문제들을 시급히 해결하고 한국어 문법교육을 질적으로 제고시키기 위해 본고에서는 중국에서의 한국어 문법교육의 60여년의 역사를 참답게 총화하고 지금까지의 연구 성과들에 대한 분석 연구를 통하여 중국에서의 한국어 문법교육은 중국인 학습자들의 모국어의 제 특성과 중국 교육행정에서 제정한 교육목표에 의해 한국에서의 한국어 문법교육이나 다른 특정 언어권의 학습자를 상대로 한 한국어 문법교육과는 달리 기초교육 과정에서의 문법교육과 전공교육 과정에서의 문법교육으로 대별되는 이중의 성격을 띤 문법교육으로 특징지어지며, 기초교육 과정에서의 문법교육은 문법적 형태를 중심으로 문법지식 전수와 용례 분석을 통해 한국어 언어능력을 향상시키는 목적으로 진행되고, 전공교육 과정에서의 문법교육은 한국어 문법이론에 대한 체계적인 전수를 통해 한국어 언어지식 습득을 목적으로 진행되는데 이 양자는 서로 분리되면서도 서로 연결되는 하나의 통일된 유기체를 이루어야 한다.

Korean grammar teaching in China has been undertaken for sixty-odd years, during which its research has been conducted for merely less than 20 years. Many problems remain to be summed up and solved in order to establish a theoretical foundation for this long-term practice. This paper aims to provide solutions to problems thereof in order to upgrade this undertaking. Based on a summary of the cause and an analysis of the research findings, it concludes that Korean grammar teaching in China, which is guided by the features of the learnersnative language and the directive objectives of the educational administrative departments, differs from the case in South Korea and other non-Korean-speaking countries and regions. Korean grammar teaching in China is featured with two stages, namely, the rudimentary education stage and the specialty education stage. During the rudimentary stage, language proficiency is the objective, mainly achieved by the teaching and use of grammatical forms and other grammatical knowledge. During the specialty education stage, linguistic knowledge impartment is the major goal, achieved mainly by teaching Korean grammatical theories.
