Abstract
The present study is intended to focus on the problem of intertekstualnost in the history of Russian poetη. Generally speaking, intertekstuality" which many scholars (especially in postmodernism) are interested in, includes various meanings of imitation, citation, translation, parody, plagiarism, allusion, and pastish. In the history of Russian poetry, the theme of time has been a classical theme from Derzhavin to Mandelshtam. The purpose of this paper is to examine the intertextuality between Derzhavin' s work and other poets' works, dealing with influence and sources in their works.

Derzhavin has great influence on his later poets such as Pushkin, Tiutchev and Mandelshtam. In their works time is viewed as a reflection of the artists' philosophical notion and aspects of structural and functional interconnection in their works.

We can examine the intertextuality between Derzhavin and the nineteenth-century Russian poets, Pushkin and Tiutchev. Pushkin inserts his personal time of poetic persona' s in historical time. He compares the present moment with the past time and takes out the present from the past. He pays attention to the future in connection with various ideas about the fate of Russia and about his personal destiny. The problem of intertextuality between Derzhavins and Pushkins focuses on the fact that Pushkin' s text is an imitation and variation of Derzhavin' s text.

Tiutchev has a particular way of percelvmg the world and this is inevitably reflected in his poetry. Whether intentionally or accidentally, he is occupied with strong time-consciousness like Derzhavin. A similar image of time to that which we find in Derzhavin' s poetic texts is also shown in Tiutchev' s poems. Derzhavin mainly uses simile for the images of time, whereas Tiutchev employs metaphor for such images.

In the twentieth-century the problem of time becomes one of the central problems not only in basic scientific achievements which attempt to give a meaning to philosophy, but also in sciences about human beings. In Mandelshtams poem we find the image of time which we are familiar with in Derzhavins poems. In Mandelshtam' s poetics, time is the condition of human existence. Khlebnikov, one of the Russian futurists, is also connected with Derzhavin. By employing and paraphrasing the words from the text of Derzhavin, Khlebinkov makes his own poems. Therefore, it appears that one poets text is in constant dialogue with previous poets' texts. In conclusion, Derzhavins poetic texts are the library of later Russian poets.
