延日段狀地의 低濕地型 堆積物에 關한 硏究

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to elucidate a part of the processes of the Yeon-il platforms in the south of Po-hang. For this purpose, sedimentary materials (deposits of alternate red and gray bands, ferruginous crust) are examined by field observation, grain-size analysis, chemical composition analysis, microscopic observation, and X-Ray diffraction. The results of the study as follows; 1. Deposits of alternate red and gray bands, ferruginous crust are products of depression in relation to underground water-table changes. 2. The Yeon-il platforms seem not to be terrace formed by abrasion of the river.
