Abstract
There are broad tidal marshes on the estuaries of three rivers on the coastal regions of ChullaPuk-do. Through the historical stages people constructed many tide embankments on the edge of these tidal marshes to get reclaimed lan for rice cultivation. This challenges by people make change landscapes of these tidal marshes. Especially the study focus are centered on villages in the reclaimed land on Jinbong peninsula. Successive Time Cross Section method are used to investigate Narrative Explanation on this reclaimed region. The historical time span was divided into three sections

:according to Developmental stage theory of landscape; that is, Primitive landscape stage, Cultured landscape stage and Devastated landscape stage. It is not permitted to explain Devastated landscape stage coming future in this paper because of it's difficulty of getting plenty materials for previewing the future. Cultured landscape stage was divided into two periods; that is, Land reclaiming period and Stabilizing period. Typical characteristics on the lands, capes of this region was investigated with house type, village pattern, canal system, road system and land patterns as a criteria through the historical time span.
