한국어 교재의 문법 교수요목의 현황과 개선 방안 연구

Abstract

본고의 목적은 한국어 교육기관의 교재에 나타난 문법 교수요목을 분석하여 문법 교육의 현황을 살펴보고 개선 방안을 모색해 보는 데 있다. 먼저 선행 연구를 문법 교육의 목표와 내용, 교육 문법의 체계와 유형, 문법 항목의 선정 및 위계화로 나누어 살펴보고 분석의 틀을 마련하였다. 이에 따라 한국어 교재의 문법 교수요목을 분석한 결과, 문법 항목의 선정과 관련하여, 교재 간 문법 항목 중복도가 낮으며 기본 문법 요소가 결여된 경우도 있어 교육 문법 표준화가 절실함을 확인하였다. 또한 문법 항목의 위계화와 관련하여, 초급 문법 항목에 비해 중고급 단계로 갈수록 문법의 중복도나 등급별 일치도가 낮아져 중고급 문법 교육의 목표와 내용에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 결론으로는 첫째, 한국어 문법 교육의 목표 및 등급별 목표에 따른 문법 항목 선정 및 위계화 원리가 정해지고, 둘째, 한국어 교육 문법 체계를 기반으로 하여 문법 항목이 선정되어야 하며, 셋째, 나선형 교수요목 설계 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 넷째, 담화 기능을 수반하는 문법 표현에 대한 연구가 이루어져야 하며, 다섯째, 문법 항목의 선정과 위계화의 객관성을 확보하기 위한 기초연구가 이루어져야 함을 제시하였다.

The objective of this research is to look into the current state of the Korean grammar education with the analysis of grammar syllabuses in the Korean textbooks and establish a plan for its improvement. The result of the analysis showed that, in the aspect of the Selection of Grammar Items, there were not many grammar items shared between the textbooks, some of them lacking in the basic grammar elements. The result of this research also showed that, in the aspect of the Grading of Grammar Items, the tendency of grammar item sharing and grade compliance between the textbooks was lower in the intermediate and advanced-level grammar items than the beginning-level grammar items. The conclusion of this research is as follows; First, we need to establish the principles of the selection and grading of grammar items Second, we need to select Korean grammar items based on the educational grammar system. Third, we need to do researches on how to design the helically-structured syllabuses. Fourth, we need to do researches on the grammatical expressions that involve conversations. Finally, we need to do fundamental researches to secure the objectivity of the selection and grading of grammar items.
