농악의 일반적인 복식과 금산농악의 복식

Abstract

이 연구는 우리 민족 고유의 문화적 특성을 잘 간직하고 있는 농악의 일반적인 복식을 문헌자료를 중심으로 고찰한다. 그 후 금산농악 복식을 조사, 연구하여 금산 농악복식의 특징을 찾는다. 이 연구는 일반적인 농악복식이 한민족 고유 복식을 토대로 발전하여 오늘에 이르렀다는 점을 주장한다. 따라서 농악복식은 외부 민족에게서 유입된 것도 아니고 누군가의 독창적인 창작품도 아니다. 한민족 고유 복식이 서민들의 미적 취향을 반영하여 변화, 변형되어 현재의 농악복식으로 이어져 정착되었다. 농악복식은 크게 기본복식 요소와 연희복식 요소로 구성된다. 연희복식 요소는 다시 관예복식 요소와 장식요소로 구분할 수 있다. 기본복식 요소는 한민족이 고대부터 입었던 바지, 저고리, 쓰개 등이다. 연희복식 요소는 반비의 계통의 옷, 삼색 띠, 상모 등이다. 이러한 농악복식은 전국적인 통일성도 갖지만 지역에 따른 차별성도 나타낸다. 농악복식의 지역별 차별성은 크게 좌도 농악복식, 우도 농악복식, 웃다리 농악복식으로 범주화할 수 있다. 이러한 범주화는 농악의 지역별 범주화와 대체로 일치한다. 이 연구는 좌도농악에 속하는 금산농악이 복식측면에서도 좌도농악 특성을 잘 간직하고 있다는 사실을 주장한다. 아울러 이 연구는 금산농악 복식만이 갖는 독특함은 어떤 것인지를 보여준다.

This study examines researches that mainly focus on Nongaks common costume, which well embodies our unique Korean culture. Then it examines Geumsan Nongak Costumes in order to discover its characteristics. This study argues that Nongak Costume is brought up today by its roots in Koreas own unique costume. Therefore, Nongak Costume is neither an importation from outside culture nor a ingenious creation by someone. It is brought up by our unique Korean costume that reflected common peoples changes in their aesthetic sense. Nongak Costume has two sub-element, that is element of basic costume and that of performance costume. And performance costume has two sub-element, that is element of local government office servant costume and that of ornament. Basic costume consists of Baji(Trousers), Jeogori(Korean Jacket), Sseugae(Hat and Hood), etc. which Korean has been wearing from old times. Performance costume consists of short-sleeved jacket, three-colored sash, Sangmo etc. Nongak Costume not only has national unity but also reflects regional differentiations. Nongak Costumes regional differentiations can be categorized into Joado Nongak Costume, Udo Nongak Costume, and Utdari Nongak Costume. This categorization matches up with Nongaks regional categorization roughly. This study argues that Geumsan Nongak, which is a part of Joado Nongak, also well represents Joado Nongak Costume in costume aspects. Moreover, this study shows the unique characteristics that Geumsan Nongak embodies.
