Abstract
Behcets disease (BD) is characterized by recurrent oro-genital ulcers, skin lesions, and intraocular inflammation, but can affect multiple different organ systems. Arterial involvement is uncommon in BD and usually presents with luminal stenosis, thrombosis, or aneurysm formation in aorta and peripheral arteries. Intracranial artery involvement has been domestically reported in 4 Korean patients with BD and a single case of BD with lenticulostriate artery aneurysm has been described in the English-language literature. We hereby reported the first case of a Korean BD patient presenting a ruptured lenticulostriate artery aneurysm and reviewed the literature of the reported BD cases with intracranial aneurysms.
