텔레비전 드라마 <돈의 화신>에 나타난 아버지의 이미지의 극복과 그 교육적 시사점

Abstract

이 연구는 2013년 봄에 방영된 텔레비전 드라마 <돈의 화신>으로부터 자녀가 가지고 있는 여러 유형의 아버지의 이미지를 분석하여 추출하고, 정신분석학의 관점에서 그 아버지의 이미지의 극복의 의미와 그 극복의 동력, 그리고 그 교육적 시사점을 드러내려는 시도이다. 분석의 결과 10개의 아버지의 이미지가 발견되었다. 그것은 ① 거부, ② 정의의 사도, ③ 모범적 법조인, ④ 노동자, ⑤ 노숙자, ⑥ 노예, ⑦ 피살자, ⑧ 범죄자, ⑨ 돈의 화신, 그리고 ⑩ 탕자 등이다. 이는 다시 Ⓐ 위대한(①, ②, ③), Ⓑ 무능한(④, ⑤), Ⓒ 억울한(⑥, ⑦), 그리고 Ⓓ 수치스런(⑧, ⑨, ⑩) 아버지의 이미지라는 4개의 상위 범주로 묶일 수 있다. 여기서 Ⓐ를 강한, Ⓑ와 Ⓒ를 묶어서 약한, 그리고 Ⓓ를 악한 아버지의 이미지라고 부를 수 있다면, 몇 가지 일반적 명제가 도출될 수 있다. 첫째로, 장성한 자녀에게 강하면서 선한 아버지의 이미지는 존재하지 않으며, 처음에 강해보였던 아버지의 이미지는 이후에 약하거나 악한 아버지의 이미지로 바뀐다. 둘째로, 강한 아버지의 이미지는 말할 것도 없고, 악하거나 약한 아버지의 이미지 또한 자녀에게 부정적 영향을 미친다. 셋째로, 모든 아버지의 이미지는 자녀에게 미치는 영향에 있어서 부정적 성격을 띠기 때문에, 아버지의 이미지는 극복되어야 하며, 그 동력은 어머니의 사랑으로부터 온다. 정신분석학에 따르면, 어머니의 사랑으로 극복된 아버지의 이미지 는 상징적 아버지로 귀결된다. 그리고 교육학의 관점에서 볼 때, 상징적 아버지는 가정교육의 과정과 목표로서 한계를 가지고 있다.

What images of the father do sons and daughters have? This study tries to analyze and interpret the images of father based on the mass cultural text, SBS drama <Incarnation of money>. From the analysis, four generic categories, Ⓐ great, Ⓑ poor, Ⓒ victimized, and Ⓓdishonorable image of father, have ten specific sub-categories: 1) Croesus(Ⓐ 1), 2) Apostle of justice(Ⓐ 2), 3) Legal exemplar(Ⓐ 3), 4) Laborer(Ⓑ 1), 5) Homeless(Ⓑ 2), 6) Slave(Ⓒ 1), 7) Murderee(Ⓒ 2), 8) Criminal(Ⓓ 1), 9) Incarnation of money(Ⓓ 2), and 10) Prodigal(Ⓓ 3). As the interpretation, three propositions discovered are as follows: first, the offsprings do not have the strong(Ⓐ) and good images of father, and substitute the strong image of father for the weak(Ⓑ+Ⓒ) or the bad(Ⓓ) image of father as they grow older. Second, not only the strong image of father but also the weak or bad have negative effects on the offsprings. Third, because every image of father is negative, it should be passed over by offsprings The protagonist, Lee Gang-suk's life story in the drama makes the interpretation possible, that the mass has the desire to pass over the images and gets empowered to pass over the images from the love of mother. But the drama has no idea about the position of the mother's love and the meaning of the passing-over of the images of fathers. It is important in family education that the symbolic father that is the meaning of the passing-over has its own incompleteness. From the late lacanian concepts, the process of family education can not be the disciplinary, but the 'traversing of fantasy', and the aim of it not the symbolic father, but the 'femininity'.
