니체의 여성-라비린스, 그리고 모성이라는 아리아드네의 실

Abstract

여성에 대한 니체의 담론은 은유로 점철된 복잡한 라비린스지만, 그것은 여성과 여성성에 대한 직접적인 담론으로 읽힐 수 있다. 여성-라비린스가 디오니소스적 모성을 매개로 관점주의라는 방법으로 구성되어 있기 때문이다. 여기서 모성은 정신적 수태와 분만과 양육의 전 과정을 포함하는 넓은 개념이자 은유로서, 니체의 여성 은유의 핵심이다. 그리고 여성은 남성과 마찬가지로 위버멘쉬라는 실존적 과제를 수행하는 존재다. 니체의 여성-라비린스를 이렇게 이해하면, 첫째, 그것이 갖고 있는 혼란스럽고도 모순적인 표층이 일정정도 정합적인 구도로 편입된다. 둘째, 니체의 여성은 생물학적 성정체성의 문제로 소급될 필요도, 그렇다고 기호학적 수사의 문제로 축소될 이유도 없다. 셋째, 여성에 대한 니체의 거친 수사학에도 페미니즘-안티페미니즘이나, 여성친화적-여성비하적이라는 이원적 구도를 적용할 수 없다. 니체의 여성은 그러기에는 너무 은유적이고, 너무 디오니소스적이며, 너무 모성적이다. Nietzsches discourse on woman is a complex labyrinth of a series of metaphors but it can be seen as a straight discourse on woman and the feminine. Indeed, the woman-labyrinth is composed by perspectivism via Dionysian maternity. Maternity is a concept as well as a metaphor which includes pregnancy, birth, and rearing and it is the core of Nietzsches metaphor of woman. Like man, woman is a being who fulfills the existential goal of Übermensch. If the woman-labyrinth is understood in this way, it can be presented as follows. First, its confusing and contradictory surface is incorporated in a somewhat coherent structure. Second, there is no reason why Nietzsches woman ought to go back to the problem of anatomical sexual identity or reduce to the problem of semiotic rhetoric. Third, Nietzsche's rough rhetoric on woman cannot be subject to the dualism of feminism vs. antifeminism or philogyny vs. misogyny. Nietzsches woman is too metaphorical, too Dionysian, and too maternal to be so.
