Immunological modification of immune res
ponse in the organ recipient by either active
or passive enhancement has been experiment
ally showing a promise as a means of specific
biological immuno-suppression by Wilson et
al씨 15) and others. How-ever, precise method
of administration of antigen or specific antibody
is necessary. Active enhan-cement
of rat renal allograft survival by pretreatment
with 0.5 mg per kg of body weight
donor specific soluble LBNF1 splenic antigen
has achieved in Lewis recipient receiving
LBNF1 kidney. Renal transplantation waS
performed between Lewis inbred rats and
LewisXBrown Norway F1 hybrid. LBNF1
rats' kidneys were transplanted to adult
male Lewis rats weighing 350-450gm.
Immunological assay studies were performed
to detect the mechanism of immune
responsiveness in the actively enhanced,
long-survived 5 renal allograft recipients
(averag survial time is 64 days)
