한·중관계 20년의 안보 쟁점 분석: 북·중동맹과 한·미동맹에 대한 전략적 고려

Abstract

이 논문은 북․중동맹과 한․미동맹에 초점을 맞추어 지난 20년 동안의 한․중 안보관계를 분석하려고 한다. 이 논문은 다음 사항을 분석한다. 먼저, 한․중관계에서 안보문제가 중요하게 부각된 배경과 주요 특징을 살펴본다. 이어서 북․중동맹과 한․미동맹을 둘러싼 한․중 양국의 우려와 실제 상황을 차례로 분석한다. 결론에서는 이런 논의를 토대로 한․중관계의 발전을 위해 필요한 양국의 바람직한 대응 방안을 살펴본다.

This article aims at analyzing diplomatic and security relations of South Korea and China in the past 20 years, focusing on the Sino-North Korea alliance and the U.S.-South Korea alliance. Concretely, this article, first, investigates the background as to why security relations between the two countries have abruptly emerged as a tricky issue recently and what the chief characteristics of security relations between the two countries are. Then this paper examines the two countries' worries toward each other surrounding the Sino-North Korea alliance and the U.S.-South Korea alliance, consecutively. Finally, it discusses the appropriate policies that South Korea and China are required to implement in order to develop the two countries' relationship in the future.
