20세기 초 한국 儒者의 時代認識 - 石谷 李圭晙의 '正心' 해석에 대한 역사적 고찰

Abstract

石谷 李圭晙(1855~1923, 字: 叔玄)은 의학을 연구하고 이를 임상에서 사용한 醫者인 동시에 경서를 폭넓게 연구한 儒者이다. 이규준의 의학 편저인 <醫鑑重磨>와 扶陽醫學 즉, 인체 내의 陽을 강화해야한다는 학설은 일찍이 한의학계의 주목을 받았다. 그 후에, 이러한 의학사상을 건립하게 된 사상적 배경을 밝혀 낼 필요성이 대두되면서 그의 유학사상에 대해서도 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 많은 임상 한의사들이 부양의학이론에 근거하여 의학적 실천을 진행하고 있음에도 불구하고, 그의 부양의학의 철학적 배경에 대한 연구는 부족했다는 반성과 필요에 의한 것이었다.

During the Japanese Colonial Period, the people criticized the Confucian scholars for obsolete way of thinking in Korea, and through this demanded change of thinking to them. In response, some Confucians asserted the Confucian classics was a great achievement of Confucius' political thought, therefore clear understanding of it was the way out of the national crisis. Lee Gyujun is the representative sample of them. through my analysis, I have determined that his commentaries originates in the inquiries about Zhuxi's commentary. Today, Korean scholars must overcome the pressure of needing to refute the colonial view of history, correction of distortions on the view of history being caused by the colonization, regain the appropriate view of Confucianism history.
