Abstract
Intraosseus hemangioma comprises 1% of all benign
tumors arising from the bone,1 of which only 5% are found
in the orbit. Such orbital tumors are called primary
intraosseus orbital hemangioma (PIOH).2 Fewer than 30
cases of PIOH have been described in the English literature,
and only one case was reported to arise from the
lacrimal bone.3–5 We report a case of PIOH arising from the
lacrimal bone, with a review of the literature.
