Based on the teaching game for understanding, this research is to scientifically verify the effect of the adapted-golf intervention with the theory closely related to a constraints-led approach of Newell (1986) that is applicable to physical education class situations. Through this study, the aim is to raise the understanding of the developmental coordination disorder and the possibility of applying it to the field, and suggest an appropriate educational approach to the leaders of the educational field. The participants were assessed through four criteria of the DSM-5 published by the American Psychiatric Association. The participants were assessed for their motor skills, academic ability, daily life, developmental disabilities, and total of 51 middle school students with developmental coordination disorder aged 12-14 were selected to participate the intervention. In order to investigate the effects of the intervention method and duration, the experimental group A (n=12) participated in adapted golf intervention based on teaching game for understanding model, and group B (n=14) participated in the adapted golf intervention based on the technical model. All intervention were 90 minutes for a total of 24 times. At the same period, the control group did not participate in any activity. The motor performance ability (BOT-2, Nelson Pitching Task), spatial ability, and right-brain (FP2) alpha brain waves (α) of the middle school students with developmental coordination disorder positively effected after 12-week group intervention activities conducted in the school environment. The results of the post-test of interaction showed that the exercise performance (BOT-2) after the 12 weeks exercise effected a significant difference only in the group of teaching game for understanding model group and the control group, and a significant difference among the groups of the pitching test of Nelson. In the case of motor performance (BOT-2), there were no positive effect on the based on the technical model group that implies the top-down approach such as the understanding-based game model, has greater efficiency in the pedagogical approach of the middle school students with developmental coordination disorder. In addition, the significant difference in the results after 6 weeks of the golf skilled performance implies the increase in motor learning of the middle school students with developmental coordination disorder. It is uneasy for a person to enjoy sport when one feels the skill is not performing well on ones behalf. Therefore, in order for them to have self-confident in participating the sports, the practitioners are probable to consider the sufficient teaching method to be applied in the field. In the case of spatial visualization (PSVT: R), only the teaching game for understanding group showed significant difference between the pre-value and the post result after 12 weeks. In visuo-spatial working memory, there were no interactive effect, though the effect size (Cohen's d=0.97) represented high in teaching game for understanding group. The positive effect of spatial learning on the learning deficits of developmental coordination disorders in this study means that it can complement not only the educational approach but also the fundamental problems they have. In this study, although there is no comparison of intervention among the other discipline, if the practitioners prepare the class with correct educational approach by selecting the static exercise like golf will provide developmental coordination disorder students time to plan their action and prepare exercise themselves. By providing this insightful class, it is believed that they can possibly have the chance to find pleasure through participating physical education and have pride in physical activity. In the EEG group, there was an interactive effect shown only in the right brain (FP2) alpha waves, and there was a significant difference between the teaching game for understanding group and the technical model group (p=.048)-
dc.description.abstractand with the control group (p=.000). This is because the constraints-led approach fulfills students' internal motivation and has a positive effect on their psychomotor domains. The education level suitable for the subject means that they can change their brains-
dc.description.abstractit is certain that the increase of EEG level changed not only the motor ability but also the whole life of the student. Therefore, further study is needed to be established for the clearer basis.-
