Abstract
This paper proposes fiber optic localized surface plastrion resonance (FO LSPR) sensor with gold capping process and anti-reflection (AR) surface, which improve the performance of sensor in terms of durability and sensitivity. The signal to noise ratio (SNR) is also enhanced by forming the AR structure on optical fiber surface. As a feasibility test, thyroglobuline (Tg) associated with thyroid cancer is detected in various concentrations.
