dc.description.abstract본 논문은 2015 과학과 교육과정 개정의 주요 방향을 소개하고, 이와 관련된 쟁점 및 학교 과학교육에 미칠 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 먼저 2015 교육과정의 도입 배경과 주요 개정 내용을 정리하였다. 이어서 2015 과학과 교육과정 개정의 방향을 정의적 영역과 평생학습능력을 강조하는 목표 도입, 핵심개념 중심의 내용체계표 도입과 통합과학적 접근, 과학 교과역량 및 기능포함 성취기준의 도입의 세 가지로 요약하였다. 그리고 이러한 개정 방향을 둘러싼 쟁점들을 분석하고, 마지막으로 이러한 변화가 학교 과학교육과 과학교실문화에 주는 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

This study explains the main directions of the revision of 2015 National Science Curriculum and discusses their issues over and implications to school science education. To do this, first, we summarize the background of and the major changes of 2015 National Curriculum in general. Second, we characterize the new 2015 National Science Curriculum with the following three directions: its aims emphasizing interest/attitudes and lifelong learning ability, content structure focusing on big ideas and integrated approach, and introduction of science competences and attainment targets including skills. Then the issues and debates over the revision directions and their future implications towards school science and science classroom culture in Korea are discussed.
