Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the structure of decision making at the 2009 revised national history curriculum and the real state of its developing procedure. In addition, I suggest the improvement direction for the current decision making system. As a result, I confirmed the developing procedure look to the direction that do not coincide with the reality of history education because of the contradictions of the decision-making structure, political inclination of only a few of history curriculum committeemen and presses, statesmen. Especially, Ministry of Education, Science and Technologys one-sided procedure of in changing the wording by excluding advisors and researchers can not escape reasonable criticisms. Ultimately, this confusion makes teachers difficult to give nomal history lessons and pupils learn history systematically. Therefore, we need to build the structure of automous decision making, regardless of political and external pressure. We also need to continue to monitor the voice of the field of education, to improve the suitability of the curriculum. Finally, in order to prevent the confusion of the field of education, our curriculum should not be amended from time to time in the division system of the Korean Peninsula.
