- The new era of digital getting broad with the development of Information Technology (IT) and the spread of internet brings on the changes in every field of our life and the economy. The development of digital technology gives variety to the relations between companies and customers. As a result. it is necessary to devise completely new competition strategies in order to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage In this research. we first look at a changing society which is driven by the development of the digital technology and analyze the characteristics of digital era. The characteristics of digital era are analyzed through the study of the patterns of changing society and the new environment of changing economy. Then we develop the e-Business strategies through the case studies of global leading firms with the consideration of the characteristics of digital era.
