Abstract
The studies or suggestions that the firm resources is the source of competitive advantages are more increasing after 1990. For example, financial resource. technological resource, human resource. organizational resource are suggested as the source of firm competitive advantage. Especially organizational core competence is a critical factor which influence the organizational performance and survival. Recently, in order to be fit to dynamic and raid change of organizational environment, the manager agree to that organizational innovation is more important one. Especially organization innovation such as team-based organization increase more and more, team competence as group level competence is the more important one than ever. However there are only a few studies on team competence. even though it is important. This study review several studies on team competence comprehensively in terms of the concepts of team competence, determinants and dependent variables considered. research method, and the research of team competence in the future. First, we need to study the concept of team competence more explicitly and to consider it with individual and organizational competence. Second we need to develop the indexes or measures of team competence. Third we need to investigate the determinants of team competence in terms of organizational/team structures and team based human resource practices Forth. we need to apply the rigid research method and theoretical approach for empirical studies. for example group dynamics. group performance model. organizational theory. and human resource management.
