Abstract
Along with the Korea Financial investment services and capital Markets Act, Korea Financial Investment Association (KFIA) represents one of two agencies that

self-regulate South Korean financial industry. Investigating both organizational structure and tasks of the association, I note that KFIA is designed to protect investors not only from market risk generated by financial markets structural changes, but also conflict of interests among its member companies. In addition, created by the Financial nvestment Services and Capital Markets Act, KFIA is hoped to serve as an invaluable foundation for radically nsforming financial sector as it strengthens the

role of industry-led regulation.
