친환경 이노베이션: 현대자동차 아반떼 LPi 하이브리드

Abstract

자동차는 지역간의 거리를 좁히며 우리의 일상 생활에 없어서는 안될 필수품이 되었다. 그러나 더 멀리 더 빠르게 더 많은 것을 이동시키기 위한 연료의 무분별한 사용은 이제 변화의 요구에 직면해 있다. 현재 자동차는 매장량이 한정된 석유를 주원료로 사용하며 구동되고 있으며, 연소과정에서 발생하는 이산화탄소를 포함한 배출가스로 지구 환경에 악영향을 미치고 있다. 이중 이산화탄소는 지구온난화 현상을 심화시키며 전세계적으로 발생하고 있는 기후변화의 원인으로 여겨지고 있다. 기후 변화는 인류를 포함한 지구상에 살고 있는 모든 생명체의 삶의 터전을 변화시키며 지속가능한 미래를 위협하고 있다. 이 때문에 모든 자동차 업체들에게 친환경 자동차의 개발은 이제 선택이 아닌 필수가 되었다. 이에 현대자동차는 그 동안 축적된 기술력을 토대로 국내에 친환경 자동차 시대를 열고자 세계 최초로 아반떼 LPi 하이브리드를 출시하였다. Serving as a convenient mode of transportation, the automobile has become an indispensable necessity in our everyday lives. However, as our increasing need to move faster, further, and with more capacity has led to the reckless consumption of fuel, we are faced with the urgent responsibility to address the issues that have arisen. The combustion of fossil fuels that powers our vehicles produces harmful exhaust gases including CO₂, which is regarded as a core cause of ozone depletion and global warming. Climate change threatens the future of our environment and the livelihood of all earths inhabitants, including mankind. It is therefore imperative that the automotive industry focus research and development on eco-friendly technologies.
